Title: Adjudication of Claims and Objections

(4) Where any claim or objection has been adjudicated upon under this rule, the order made thereon shall have the same force and be subject to the same conditions as to appeal or otherwise as if it were a decree. (5) Where a claim or an objection is preferred and the Court, under the proviso to sub-rule (1), refuses to entertain it, the party against whom such order is made may institute a suit to establish the right which he claims to the property in dispute ; but, subject to the result of such suit, if any, an order so refusing to entertain the claim or objection shall be conclusive.] 2 [59. .....to between the parties has not been truly stated in the instrument of transfer with such object as is referred to in clause (a) or clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 269C, he may, after obtaining the approval of the Commissioner, make an order for the acquisition of the property under this Chapter. Explanation: In this sub-section, Commissioner, in relation to a competent authority, means such Commissioner as the Board may, by general or special order in writing, specify in this behalf. (7) If the competent authority is not satisfied as provided in sub-section (6), he shall, by order in writing, declare that the property will not be acquired under this Chapter. (8) The competent authority shall serve a copy of his order under sub-section (6) or sub-section (7), as the case may be, on the transferor, the transferee and on every person who has made objections against such acquisition under section 269E. (9) In any proceedings under this Chapter in respect of any immovable property, no objection shall be entertained on the ground that although the apparent consideration for the property is less than the fair market value of the property on the date of the execution.....

Sashastra Seema Bal Act 2007 Section 96

Title: Objections

(1) At all trials by a General Force Court or by a Petty Force Court, as soon as the Court is assembled, the names of the presiding officer and members shall be read over to the accused, who shall thereupon be asked whether he objects to being tried by any officer sitting on the Court. (2) If the accused objects to such officer, his objection and also the reply thereto of the officer objected to shall be heard and recorded, and the remaining officers of the Court shall, in the absence of the challenged officer decide on the objection. (3) If the objection is allowed by one-half or more of the votes of the officers entitled to vote, the objection shall be allowed, and the member objected to shall retire, and his vacancy may be filled in the prescribed manner, by another officer subject to the same right of the accused to object. (4) When no objection is made, or when an objection has been made and disallowed, or the vacancy of an officer has been filled by another officer under sub-section (3) to which no objection is made or allowed, the Court shall proceed with the trial.

Title: Poweer to Central Government to Control Moving of Sculptures , Carvings or Like Objects

.....the Collector may require. (3) If the Collector refuses to grant such permission, the applicant may appeal to the Commissioner, whose decision shall be final. (4) Any person who moves any object in contravention of a notification issued under sub-section (1), shall be punishable with fine which may extend to five hundred rupees. (5) If the owner of any property proves to the satisfaction of {Substituted by the A.O 1937, by the A.O.1937 for " the L.G."}[the Central Government] that he has suffered any loss or damage by reason of the inclusion of such property in a notification published under sub-section (1), {Substituted by the A.O.1937 for " the L.G."}[the Central Government] shall either (a) exempt such property from the said notification; (b) purchase such property, if it be moveable, at its market - value; or (c) pay compensation for any loss or damage sustained by the owner of such property, if it be immoveable.

Motor Vehicles Act, 1988 Section 48

.....of refusing to grant the no objection certificate, the registering authority shall obtain a report in writing from the police that no case relating to the theft of the motor vehicle concerned has been reported or is pending, verify whether all the amounts due to Government including road tax in respect of that motor vehicle have been paid and take into account such other factors as may be prescribed by the Central Government. 1[(6) The owner of the vehicle shall also inform at the earliest, in writing, the registering authority about the theft of his vehicle together with the name of the police station where the theft report was lodged, and the registering authority shall take into account such report while disposing of any application for no objection certification, registration, transfer of ownership or issue of duplicate registration certificate]. ________________________ 1. Title: Formation of Companies with Charitable Objects, Etc.

.....convert itself into company of any other kind only after complying with such conditions as may be prescribed. (5) Where it is proved to the satisfaction of the Central Government that a limited company registered under this Act or under any previous company law has been formed with any of the objects specified in clause (a) of sub-section (1) and with the restrictions and prohibitions as mentioned respectively in clauses (b) and (c) of that sub-section, it may, by licence, allow the company to be registered under this section subject to such conditions as the Central Government deems fit and to change its name by omitting the word "Limited", or as the case may be, the words "Private Limited" from its name and thereupon the Registrar shall, on application, in the prescribed form, register such company under this section and all the provisions of this section shall apply to that company. (6) The Central Government may, by order, revoke the licence granted to a company registered under this section if the company contravenes any of the requirements of this section or any of the conditions subject to which a licence is issued or the affairs of the company are conducted.....

Title: Claims and Objections to Attachment

.....the claimant or objector, be continued by his legal representative. (2) Claims or objections under sub-section (1) may be preferred or made in the Court by which the order of attachment is issued, or, if the claim or objection is in respect of property attached under an order endorsed under sub-section (2) of section 83, in the Court of the Chief Judicial Magistrate of the district in which the attachment is made. (3) Every such claim or objection shall be inquired into by the Court in which it is preferred or made: Provided that, if it is preferred or made in the Court of a Chief Judicial Magistrate, he may make it over for disposal to any Magistrate subordinate to him. (4) Any person whose claim or objection has been disallowed in whole or in part by an order under sub-section (1) may, within a period of one year from the date of such order, institute a suit to establish the right which he claims in respect of the property in dispute; but subject to the result of such suit, if any, the order shall be conclusive.

Title: Allocation of Expenditure Chargeable to Project on Main Objects

The total capital expenditure chargeable to a project shall be allocated between the three main objects, namely, irrigation, power and flood control as follows, namely:-- (1) expenditure solely attributable to any of these objects, including a proportionate share of overhead and general charges, shall be charged to that object, and (2) expenditure common to two or more of the said objects, including a proportionate share of overhead and general charges, shall be allocated to each of such objects in proportion to the expenditure which, according to the estimates of the Corporation, would have been incurred in constructing a separate structure solely for that object, less any amount determined under clause (1) in respect of that object.
