(1) The meetings of the Authority shall be convened by the Metropolitan Commissioner and it shall ordinarily meet at least once in three months at such place within the jurisdiction of the Authority and at such time as the Chairman may decide. (1) The State Government shall appoint a Metropolitan Commissioner who shall be the Chief Administrative and Executive Officer on the Authority. The State Government shall by order determine, from time to time, the salary and other terms and conditions of service and the powers and functions of the Metropolitan Commissioner.
