Delhi Cooperative Societies Act, 1972 Complete Act

.....as member of a co-operative society except the following, namely : (a) an individual competent to contract under Section 11 of the Indian Contract Act, 1972 (b) any other co-operative society (c) the Central Government; and (d) such class or classes of persons or association of persons as may be notified by the Lieutenant-Governor in his behalf : Provided that the provisions of clause (a) shall not apply to an individual seeking admission to a society exclusively formed for the benefit of students of a school or college (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in sub-section (1), the Lieutenant- Governor may, having regard to the fact that the interest of any person or class of persons conflicts or is likely to conflict with the objects of any society or class of societies, by general or special order, published in the Delhi Gazette, declare that any person or class of persons engaged in or carrying on any profession, business or employment shall be disqualified from being admitted, or for continuing as members or shall be eligible for membership only to a limited extent of any specified society or class of societies, so long as such person is or such persons are.....

THE ASSAM AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE MARKET ACT, 1972 THE ASSAM AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE MARKET ACT, 1972 (ASSAM ACT XXIII OF 1974) (as amended upto 2000) (Received assent of the President on the 3rd September 1974) An Act to provide for better regulation of buying and selling of agricultural produce and the establishment of market for agricultural produce in the State of Assam and for matters connected therewith. Preamble Whereas it expedient to provide for better regulation of buying and selling of agricultural produce in the State of Assam and stablishment of regulated markets for agricultural produce; And whereas the previous sanction of the President of India under the provision of Article 304(b) of the Constitution of India has been obtained for the introduction of the Bill in the Legislative Assembly; It is hereby enacted in the Twenty-third year of Republic of India as follows :- CHAPTER I Preliminary Short title extendand commencement 1. (1) Notwithstanding anything contained in the Fatal Accidents Act, 1855 or any other enactment or rule of law in force in any part of India, the rules contained in 1[the First Schedule, the Second Schedule and the Third Schedule] shall, in all cases to which those rules apply, determine the liability of a carrier in respect of the death of a passenger. (2) The liability shall be enforceable for the benefit of such of the members of the passenger's family as sustained damage by reason of his death. Explanation.-- In this sub-section, the expression "member of a family" means wife or husband, parent, step-parent, grand-parent, brother, sister, half-brother, half-sister, child, step­child and grand-child; Provided that in deducing any such relationship as aforesaid any illegitimate person and any adopted person shall be treated as being or as having been, the legitimate child of his mother and reputed father or, as the case may be, of his adopters. (3) An action to enforce the liability may be brought by the personal representative of the passenger or by any person for whose benefit the liability is under sub-section (2) enforceable, but only one action shall be brought.....

.....from such place to his primary residence back shall be given travelling allowance at the prescribed rates. Section 6-A - Pension [ Inserted by Act No. 63 of 1976.] [Substituted by Act No. 13 of 1997.] [(1) There shall be paid a pension of [Substituted by C.G. Act No. 27 of 2004.] [ten thousand] rupees per mensem to every person who has served for a period of five years whether continuous or not as a member of the Chhattisgarh Legislative Assembly: Provided that where any person has served as aforesaid for a period exceeding five years there shall be paid to him an additional pension of [Substituted by C.G. Act No. 24 of 2001.] [two hundred rupees] per mensem for every year in excess of five years : Provided further that where a member has been prevented from serving as such for five years due to dissolution of Legislative Assembly or where a member having been elected in a bye election [Inserted by C.G. Act No. 10 of 2008.] [or as a member of Lok Sabha/Rajya Sabha] has not been able to serve for five years, he shall be deemed to have served as a member for a period of five years but this deeming provision shall not apply for the purpose of earning additional pension. .....
