.....Indian Divorce Act The Court of the District Judge shall have jurisdiction to hear and determine any original proceeding under the Indian Divorce Act 1869 (Act No. IV of 1869) and shall be deemed to be the District Court under that Act for the Civil District. Section 12 - Place of sitting of Civil Courts (1) Every Court shall be held at such place or places as the High Court may by notification direct or, in the absence of any such direction, at any place within the local limits of jurisdiction of the Court. (2) Every Additional Judge to a Court established under this Act shall sit at such place or places within the local limits of the jurisdiction of the Court to which he is an Additional Judge, as the High Court may direct. (3) The District Judge and other Judges of the district, may with the previous sanction of the High Court and after due notice to the parties, sit temporarily for taking up particular case or class of cases at any other place within the district. THE CHHATTISGARH MUNICIPALITIES ACT, 1961 THE CHHATTISGARH MUNICIPALITIES ACT, 1961 [Act No. 37 of 1961] [20th November, 1961] PREAMBLE An Act to consolidate and amend the law relating to municipalities and to make better provision for the organisation and administration of Municipalities in Chhattisgarh. Be it enacted by the Madhya Pradesh Legislature in the Twelfth year of the Republic of India as follows:-- Chapter I - PRELIMINARY Section 1 - Short Title, extent and commencement (1) This act may be called the Chhattisgarh Municipalities Act, 1961. (2) It extends to the whole of Chhattisgarh. [Inserted by M.P. Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Fifty-sixth Year of the Republic of India as follows: -- Section 1 - Short title and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Chhattisgarh Kushabhau Thakre Patrakarita Avam Jansanchar University (Amendment) Act, 2005. (2) It extends to the whole State of Chhattisgarh. (3) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. .....be deemed necessary, it appears to the Kuladhipati that Kulpati:-- (i) has made default in performing any duty imposed on him, by or under this Act; or (ii) has acted in a manner prejudicial to the interests of the University; or (iii) is incapable of managing the affairs of the University, the Kuladhipati may, notwithstanding the fact that the term of office of Kulpati has not expired, by an order, in writing, stating the reasons therein, require Kulpati to relinquish his office as from such date as may be specified in the order. (4) No order under sub-section (3) shall be passed unless the particulars of the grounds on which such action is proposed to be taken are communicated to Kulpati and he is given a reasonable opportunity of showing cause against the proposed order. (5) As from the date specified in the order under sub-section (3) Kulpati shall be deemed to have relinquished the office and the office of Kulpati shall fall vacant. (Substituted by C.G.
