THE SIKKIM PRIMARY EDUCATION ACT, 2000 THE SIKKIM PRIMARY EDUCATION ACT, 2000 (ACT NO. 14 OF 2000) AN ACT to provide for free and compulsory primary education for children in the State of Sikkim. Be it enacted by the Legislature of Sikkim in the Fifty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows:- Short title, Extent and commencement 1.
