(1) The amount of compulsory deposit and interest thereon standing to the credit of any depositor shall not be liable to attachment under a decree or order of any Court in respect of any debt or liability incurred by the depositor. (2) The amount of compulsory deposit and interest thereon standing to the credit of a depositor at the time of his deal hand payable to his nominee shall vest in the nominee and shall be free from debt or other liability incurred by the deceased or incurred by the nominee before the death of the depositor. (1) The National Tax Tribunal (Amendment) Ordinance, 2007(Ord. 3 of 2007) is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding the repeal of the National Tax Tribunal (Amendment) Ordinance, 2007(Ord. 3 of 2007), anything done or any action taken under the principal Act, as amended by the said Ordinance, shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the corresponding provisions of the principal Act, as amended by this Act. (1) The State Government may, by notification, appoint a Controller of legal metrology, Additional Controller, Joint Controller, Deputy Controller, Assistant Controller, Inspector and other employees for the State for exercising the powers and discharging the duties conferred or imposed on them by or under this Act in relation to intra State trade and commerce. (2) The qualifications of the Controller and legal metrology officers appointed under sub-section (1) shall be such as may be prescribed.
