.....SALE AND USAGE) AND GARBAGE (CONTROL) ACT, 2000 The Delhi Degradable Plastic Bag (Manufacture, Sale and Usage) and Garbage (Control) Act, 2000 (Delhi Act No. 6 of 2001) (As passed by the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi on 29th November, 2000). An Act to prevent contamination of foodstuff carried in recycled plastic bags, reduce the use of plastic bags, throwing or depositing non-biodegradable garbage in public drains, roads river, river bed and places open to public view in the National Capital Territory of Delhi and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the National Capital Territory of Delhi in the Fiftieth Year of the Republic of India as follows: 1. Short title, extent and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Delhi Degradable Plastic Bag (Manufacture, Sale and Usage) and Garbage (Control) Act, 2000. THE KERALA GENERAL SALES TAX (AMENDMENT ) ACT, 20001 THE KERALA GENERAL SALES TAX (AMENDMENT ) ACT, 20001 (Act 8 of 2000) An Act further to amend the Kerala General Sales Tax Act, 1963. Preamble:•WHEREAS it is expedient further to amend the Kerala General Sales Tax Act, 1963 (15 of 1963) for the purposes hereinafter appearing; BE it enacted in the Fifty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows:• 1. Short title and commencement.• (1) This Act may be called the Kerala General Sales Tax (Amendment) Act, 2000. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of January, 2000. 2.
