.....Pakistan nationals in India is regulated by the system of residential permits in accordance with the Indo-Pak Visa Scheme of 1974 and system of pennils introduced by the provisions of the Influx from Pakistan (Control) Act, 1949 has lapsed since long. Hence, the Influx from Pakistan (Control) Repealing Act, 1952 has no relevance and needs to be repealed. 2.The Bill seeks to achieve the above object. SECTION 01: SHORT TITLE. "This Act may be called the Influx from Pakistan (Control) Repealing (Repeal) Act, 2001.-1 SECTION 02: REPEAL OF ACT 76 OF 1952. ADMINISTRATION OF EVACUEE PROPERTY ACT, 1950 ADMINISTRATION OF EVACUEE PROPERTY ACT, 1950 31 of 1950 An Act to provide for the administration of evacuee property and for certain matters connected therewith. BE it enacted by Parliament as follows:- CHAPTER 01: PRELIMINARY SECTION 01: SHORT TITLE AND EXTENT (1) This Act may be called The Administration of Evacuee Property Act, 1950. (2) It extends to the whole of India except [the territories which immediately before the 1st November 1956, were comprised in the States] of Assam, West Bengal, Tripura, Manipur and Jammu and Kashmir. SECTION 02: DEFINITIONS In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,- (a) "allotment" means the grant by a person duly authorised in this behalf of a right of use or occupation of any immovable evacuee property to any other person, but does not include a grant by way of lease; (b) "Custodian General" means the Custodian General of Evacuee Property in India appointed by the Central Government under section 5-; (c) "Custodian" means the Custodian for the State, and includes any Additional, Deputy or Assistant Custodian of evacuee property appointed in that State" .....
