AN ACT to provide for the constitution of Himachal Pradesh Medical Council and the maintenance of a register of medical practitioners who are engaged in the practice of modern scientific system of medicine and all its branches in the State of Himachal Pradesh and for matters connected therewith. BEit enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Himachal Pradesh in the Fifty-fourth Year of the Republic of India, as follows:- CHAPTER-I PRELIMINARY 1. Short title.- This Act may be called the Himachal Pradesh Medical Council Act, 2003. 2. Definitions.- In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,- (a) "casual vacancy" means a vacancy occurring otherwise than by efflux of time in any office.....
