SECTION 05: PROHIBITION OF USE OF FUNDS OF RELIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS FOR CERTAIN ACTIVITIES - No religious institution or manager thereof shall use or allow the use of any funds or other properties belonging to, or under the control of. the institution for the benefit of any political party or for the purpose of any political activity or for the commission of any act which is punishable as an offence under any law. ORDINANCES HOW MADE; (1) The Ordinances made under sub-section (2) of section 25 of the Act may be amended, repealed or added to at any time by the Majlis-i-Muntazimah (Executive Council) in the manner specified below. (2) No Ordinance in respect of the matters enumerated in section 25 other than those enumerated in clause (p) of sub-section (1) thereof, shall be made by the Majlis-i-Muntazimah (Executive Council) unless a draft of such Ordinance has been proposed by the Majlis-i-Talimi (Academic Council). (3) The Majlis-i-Muntazimah (Executive Council) shall not have power to amend any draft of any Ordinance proposed by the Majlis-i-Talimi (Academic Council) under clause (2), but may reject the proposal or return the draft to the Majlis-i-Talimi (Academic Council) for reconsideration, either in whole or in part, together with any amendment which the Majlis-i-Muntazimah (Executive Council) may suggest. (4) Where the Majlis-i-Muntazimah (Executive Council) has rejected or returned the draft of an Ordinance proposed by the Majlis-i-Talimi (Academic Council), the Majlis-i-Talimi.....

.....Visitor may offer upon the action to be taken thereon. (7) Where the Majlis-Muntazimah (Executive Council) does not, within a reasonable time, take action to the satisfaction of the Visitor, the Visitor, may, after considering any explanation furnished or representation made by the Majlis-i-Muntazimah (Executive Council) issue such directions as he may think fit and the Majlis-i-Muntazimah (Executive Council), shall comply with such directions. (8) Without prejudice to the foregoing provisions of this section, the Visitor may, by order in writing, annul any proceeding of the University which is not in conformity with this Act, the Statutes or the Ordinances : Provided that before making any such order, he shall call upon the University to show cause why such an order should not be made, and, if any cause is shown within a reasonable time, he shall consider the same. (9) The Visitor shall have such other powers as may be prescribed by the Statutes. .....or discharge of or from any debt, penalty, obligation, liability, claim or demand, or any indemnity already granted, or the proof of any past act or thing; nor shall this Act affect any principle or rule or law, or established jurisdiction, form or course of pleading, practice or procedure, or existing usage, custom, privilege, restriction, exemption, office or appointment, notwithstanding that the same respectively may have been in any manner affirmed or recognised or derived by, in or from any enactment hereby repealed; nor shall the repeal by this Act of any enactment revive or restore any jurisdiction, office, custom, liability, right, title, privilege, restriction, exemption, usage, practice, procedure or other matter or thing not now existing or in force.

Title: Prohibition of Use of Religious Institutions for Certain Purposes

.....keeping any goods or articles in contravention of any law for the time being in force; or (e) for erecting or putting up of any construction or fortification, including basements, bunkers, towers or walls without a valid licence or permission under any law for the time being in force; or (f) for the carrying on of any unlawful or subversive act prohibited under any law for the time being in force or in contravention of any order made by any court; or (g) for the doing of any act which promotes or attempts to promote disharmony of feelings of enmity, hatred or ill-will between different religious, racial, language or regional groups or castes or communities; or (h) for the carrying on of any activity prejudicial to the sovereignty, unity and integrity of India; or (i) for the doing of any act in contravention of the provisions of the Prevention of Insults to National Honour Act, 1971.
