High Courts Act, 1911 Complete Act

.....to appoint from time to time persons to act as additional judges of any High Court for such period not exceeding two years as may be required, and the judges so 'appointed shall, whilst so; acting, have all the powers of a judge of the High Court appointed by His Majesty under section two of the said Act: Provided that such additional judges shall not be taken into account in determining the proportions specified in the proviso to that section. SECTION 04: SALARIES The salaries of any judges or temporary judges appointed under this Act shall be paid out of the Revenues of India. SECTION 05: SHORT TITLE This Act may be cited as the Indian High Courts Act, 1911, and shall be construed as one with the Indian High Courts Act, 1861, and that Act and the Indian High Courts Act, 1865, and this Act, may be Cited together as the Indian High Courts Acts, 1861to 1911. .....in the Fifty-first Year of the Republic of India as follows:- CHAPTER 1. PRELIMINARY 1. Short title, extent and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Designs Act, 2000. (2) It extends to the whole of India. DESIGNS ACT, 1911 DESIGNS ACT, 1911 2 of 1911 An Act to amend the law relating to the protection of Designs. Whereas it is expedient to amend the law relating to the protection of designs; it is hereby enacted as follows :- SECTION 01: SHORT TITLE, EXTENT AND COMMENCEMENT. (1) This Act may be called the Designs Act, 1911. (2) It extends to the whole of India. (3) It shall come into force on the first day of January, 1912. SECTION 02: DEFINITIONS. Designs Act, 1911 [Repealed] Section 51A

Title: Cancellation of Registration

1[51A. Cancellation of registration (1) Any person interested may present a petition for the cancellation of the registration of a design-- (a) at any time after the registration of the design, to the High Court on any of the following grounds, namely :-- (i) that the design has been previously registered in2[India]; or (ii) that it has been published in2[India] prior to the date of registration; or (iii) that the design is not a new or original design; or (b) within one year from the dale of the registration, to the Controller on either of the grounds specified in sub-clauses (i) and (ii) of clause (a). (2) An appeal shall lie from any order of the Controller under this section to the High Court, and the Controller may at any time refer any such petition to the High Court, and the High Court shall decide any petition so referred. _______________________ 1.
