THE COCHIN UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ACT, 1986[1] ACT 31 OF 1986 THE COCHIN UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ACT, 1986 [1] An Act to provide for the reorganisation of the University of Cochin . Preamble. " WHEREAS it is expedient to provide for the reorganization of the University of Cochin and convert it into a full fledged University of Science and Technology for the promotion of graduate and post-graduate studies and advanced research in applied science, technology, industry, commerce, management and social science; BE it enacted in the Thirty-seventh Year of the Republic of.
