Title: Saving of Rights of a Grantee of Land-revenue

Nothing in Sections 4 and 8 shall affect the right of a grantee of land-revenue, whose claim to such grant is admitted by the Government, to recover such revenue from the persons liable to pay the same under any law for the time being in force for the recovery of the rent of land.

Subject to the provisions contained in this Act relating to co-ownership of patents and subject also to any rights vested in any other person of which notice is entered in the register, the person or persons registered as grantee or proprietor of a patent shall have power to assign, grant licences under, or otherwise deal with, the patent and to give effectual receipts for any consideration for any such assignment, licence or dealing: Provided that any equities in respect of the patent may be enforced in like manner as in respect of any other movable property.

.....27 Grantees to be responsible for all damages The grantees shall be answerable for all accidents, damages and injuries happening through their act or default, or through the act or default of any person in their employment by reason or in consequence of any of their works or carriages, and shall save harmless the Corporation and their officers and servants from all damages and costs in respect of such accidents, damages and injuries. .....male minor before attainment of 18 years of age, or by a female minor before such attainment or marriage, falls short of four times the annual amount of cash grant, the deficiency shall be made good to the male minor on his attaining 18 years of age, and to the female minor on her attaining 18 years of age or her marriage, whichever is earlier. (4) Where a cash grant to which this Act applies is subject to the rendering of any service, the grantee shall, with effect from the date of discontinuation of the grant, stand relieved of the liability to render that service.
