THE KERALA WOMEN'S COMMISSION ACT, 1990 THE KERALA WOMEN'S COMMISSION ACT, 1990 1 (ACT 17 OF 1995) An Act to provide for the Constitution of a Women's Commission to improve the status of women in the State of Kerala and to enquire into unfair practices affecting women and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. Short title, extent and commencement .-(1) This Act may be called the Kerala Women's Commission Act, 1991. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Kerala.
