.....intention of making outline development plan (1) A Planning Authority, before carrying out a survey of the area under its jurisdiction under sub-section (1) of section 9, for the purpose of preparing an outline development plan for such area, shall make a declaration of its intention to prepare such plan and shall despatch a copy thereof to the State Government for publication in the official Gazette and shall publish in the prescribed manner for inviting suggestions from the public within a period of two months: Provided that no such declaration of intention need be made when the outline development plan is prepared and published by the Director under sub-section (2) of section 9. (2) If within two months from the date of publication of the declaration under sub-section (1) any member of the public communicates in writing to the Planning Authority any suggestion relating to such plan, the Planning Authority shall consider such suggestion and may, at any time, before sending the Plan to the State Government make such modification in the plan as it thinks fit.
