THE SIKKIM ELECTRONIC ENTERTAINMENT GAMES (CONTROL & TAX) ACT, 2002 THE SIKKIM ELECTRONIC ENTERTAINMENT GAMES (CONTROL & TAX) ACT, 2002 ACT NO. 4 OF 2002 AN ACT to provide for the control and regulation of Electronic Entertainment Games, and to impose a tax on Electronic Entertainment Games, in the State of Sikkim. WHEREAS it is expedient to provide for the control and regulation of Electronic Entertainment Games, and to impose a tax on Electronic Entertainment Games, in the State of Sikkim, it is hereby enacted in the Fifty-Third Year of the Republic of India as follows :- Short title, extent and commencement. 1. (1) This Act may be called the Sikkim Electronic Entertainment Games (Control and Tax ) Act, 2002. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Sikkim. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may be notification in the Official Gazette appoint. Definitions. 2.
