An Act further to amend the Tamil Nadu Payment of Salaries Act, 1951. Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu in the Sixty-second Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title and commencement. " (1) This Act may be called the Tamil Nadu Payment of Salaries (Amendment) Act, 2011. (2) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification, appoint. 2. Amendment of Section 12-B. " In Section 12-B of the Tamil Nadu Payment of Salaries Act, 1951 (Tamil Nadu Act 20 of 1951), in sub-section (2-B) in clause (i), for the expression "dies", the expression "dies or disappears leaving his family", shall be substituted.
