.....repealed shall, so far as may be, be deemed to have been respectively made, issued, conferred, granted, acquired, incurred and done under this Act. (2) Any enactment or document referring to the Patiala Court of Wards Act, 2000, shall, so far as may be, be construed to refer to this Act or the corresponding portion thereof. 3. .....boundaries or cutting trenches or clearing away any standing crop, fence or forest or doing such other acts or things which may cause damages while acting under section 20B particularly relating to land which is excluded from acquisition proceeding, shall be evaluated and compensation shall be paid to the persons having interest in that land, within six months from the completion of the said works. 20D. Hearing of objections, etc.-(1) Any person interested in the land may, within a period of thirty days from the date of publication of the notification under sub-section (1) of section 20A, object to the acquisition of land for the purpose mentioned in that sub-section. In section 271 of the Income-tax Act, after sub-section (1A), the following sub-section shall be inserted and shall be deemed to have been inserted with effect from the 1st day of April, 1989, namely:-- (1B) Where any amount is added or disallowed in computing the total income or loss of an assessee in any order of assessment or reassessment and the said order contains a direction for initiation of penalty proceedings under clause (c) of sub-section (1), such an order of assessment or reassessment shall be deemed to constitute satisfaction of the Assessing Officer for initiation of the penalty proceedings under clause (c).

BE it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Orissa in the Fifty-ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows:" CHAPTER I PRELIMINARY Short title, extent and commencement. 1 . ( 1 ) This Act may be called the Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology Act, 2008.
