.....for the production and development of Khadi and Village Industries and to deal with other matters incidental thereto. It has, however, been found in actual practice that the work of the Board has been hampered by certain procedural and financial difficulties, difficulties which would be removed if a Commission were set up by law. It is, therefore, proposed to set up a Commission, called the All India Khadi and Village Industries Commission, which will be vested with powers, executive as well as administrative, for the proper development of khadi and village industries. National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development Act, 1981 Chapter III

Title: Management of the National Bank

(4) Any whole-time director appointed under sub-section (3) of section 6 shall assist the Managing Director in the discharge of his functions under sub-section (3) and perform such duties as the Board may entrust or delegate to him. Manipur Panchayati Raj Act, 1994 Chapter IV
