WHEREAS it is considered proper to repeal the West Bengal Municipal Employees (Compulsory Retirement) Act, 1976; It is hereby enacted as follows: Section 1 Short title and commencement (1) This Act may be called the West Bengal Municipal Employees (Compulsory Retirement) Repealing Act, 1978. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 23rd day of December. 1977. Section 2 Repeal of West Ben., Act 2 of 1976 The West Bengal Municipal Employees (Compulsory Retirement) Act, 1976, is hereby repealed.
