Title: Authorised Hindi Translation of Central Acts, Etc

(1) A translation in Hindi published under the authority of the President in the Official Gazette on and after the appointed day,-- (a) of any Central Act or of any Ordinance promulgated by the President, or (b) of any order, regulation or bye-law issued under the Constitution or under any Central Act, shall be deemed to be the authoritative text thereof in Hindi. (2) As from the appointed day1 the authoritative text in the English language of all Bills to be introduced or amendments thereto be moved in either House of Parliament shall be accompanied by a translation of the same in Hindi authorised in such manner as may be prescribed by rules made under this Act. ____________________________ 1. Requisitioned Land (Apportionment of Compensation) Act, 1949 Amending Act 1

.....following sub-section shall be substituted, namely:---- "(3) It shall cease to have effect in Part C States on the 1st day of April, 1952, and in Part A States--- (a) as respects the requisitioned lands which, at the commencement of the Requisitioned Land (Continuance of Powers) Amendment Act, 1951, are subject to requisition by or under the authority of the Central Government, on the 1st day of April, 1952, and (b) as respects other requisitioned lands, on the 1st day of April, 1951. except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such cesser of operation of this Act, and section 6 of the General Clauses Act, 1897 (X of 1897) shall apply upon such cesser of operation as if it had then been repealed by a Central Act."

Electricity Regulatory Commissions Act, 1998 [Repealed] Repealing Act 1
