Chemical Weapons Convention Act, 2000 Schedule I

BE it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Punjab in the Fifty sixth year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. (1) This Act may be called the Punjab Tax on Lotteries Act, 2005. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires:- (a) "Appellate Authority" means an officer of the Department, who has been appointed and designated by the State Government as the Deputy Excise and Taxation Commissioner (Appeals) to exercise the powers of Appellate Authority under this Act; (b) "Assessing Authority" means an officer of the Department, who has been appointed and designated by the State Government as the Assistant Excise and Taxation Commissioner to exercise the powers of Assessing Authority under this Act; (c) "Authorized Officer" means an officer authorized under section 21; (d) "bumper draw of lottery" means a special draw.....
