THE KERALA LOCAL FUND AUDIT ACT, 1994 [1] THE KERALA LOCAL FUND AUDIT ACT, 1994 [1] ( ACT 14 OF 1994) An Act to provide for and to regulate the audit of the local funds under the management or control of certain local authorities in the State of Kerala Preamble . -WHEREAS it is expedient to provide for and to regulate the audit of the local funds under the management or control of certain local authorities in the State of Kerala ; BE it enacted in the Forty-fifth Year of the Republic of India as follows: - 1. Short title and commencement. - (1) This Act may be called the Kerala Local Fund Audit Act, 1994. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Kerala . (3) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may by notification in the Gazette, appoint. 2 .
