1[41A. Licensed petition writers (1) The High Court may, from time to time, make rules consistent with this Act and any other enactment for the time being in force-- (a) declaring what persons shall be permitted to act as petition-writers in the Courts subordinate to it; (b) regulating the issue of licences to such persons, the conduct of business by them, and the scale of fees to be charged by them; and (c) providing a penalty of fine not exceeding fifty rupees for the breach of any of the rules so made, and determining the authority by which such breaches of the rules shall be investigated and the penalties imposed.
