Preamble1 - THE KERALA KHADI WORKERS' WELFARE FUND ACT, 1989 [1] Section1 - Short title, extent and commencement.- (1) This Act may be called the Kerala Khadi Workers' Welfare Fund Act, 1989 Section3 - Khadi Workers' Welfare Fund Scheme .- (1) The Government may, by notification in the Gazette, frame a scheme to be Section4 - Contribution to the Fund .- (1) Every khadi worker shall contribute to the fund every year in the manner provided in Section5 - Modification of the scheme.- (1) The government may, by notification in the Gazette, add to, amend or vary the scheme Section6 - Constitution of Board.- (1) The Government may, by notification in the Gazette, constitute with effect from such date Section7 - Term of office of the Directors .- (1) Non-official Directors appointed under sub-section (3) of section 6 shall hold Section8 - Removal of non-official Directors.- (1) The Government, may by notification in the Gazette, remove any non-official Section9 - Appointment of Officers and Staff .- (1) The Government may, appoint the Secretary, Kerala Khadi and Village Industries Section10 - Power of the Board to borrow .- The Board may, from time to time, with the previous approval of the Government and Section11 - Determination of amount due.- (1) The Chief Executive Officer or an officer not below the rank of an Assistant Labour Section12 - Mode of recovery of money due from Khadi Institutions .- Any amount due from the Khadi Institutions in pursuance of the Section13 - Priority to payment of contribution over other debts .- Where any Khadi Institution liable to pay contribution to the Section14 - Khadi Institution not to reduce wages etc.- No Khadi Institution shall by reason only of its liability for the payment Section15 - Directors of Board etc., to be public servants.- Every director of the Board, the Chief Executive Officer and other Section16 - Penalty .- (1) Whoever, for the purpose of avoiding any payment to be made by himself.....

.....or being a Preamble15 - Employer not to reduce wages.-No employer shall by reasons only of his liability for the payment of any contribution Preamble16 - Members of the Board to be public servants.- Every Director of the Board nominated under sub-section(3) of section 6, Preamble17 - Penalty.- (1) Whoever for the purpose of avoiding any payment to be made by himself under this Act or under the scheme Preamble18 - Enhanced Punishment for second or subsequent offence.- Whoever, having been convicted by a court of an offence Preamble19 - Offences by companies.--(1) Where an offence under this Act has been committed by a company, every person who at the Preamble20 - Power to recover damages.--Where an employer makes default in the payment of any contribution to the fund under t his Preamble21 - Protection for acts done in good faith.--No suit or other legal proceeding shall lie against any Director of the Board Preamble22 - Directions by Government.--(1) The Government may give to the Board general or special directions to be followed by the Preamble23 - Power to order inquiry.--(1) The Government may, at any time appoint an officer not below the rank of a Joint Secretary Preamble24 - Power to supersede the Board.--(1) If, on consideration of the report under section 23 or otherwise, the Government are Preamble25 - Audit of Accounts of the Board and appointment of auditors.--(1) The Board shall appoint auditors to audit the accounts Preamble26 - Annual report and audited statement of accounts.--(1) The annual report of the Board shall be prepared under the Preamble27 - Bar of jurisdiction of civil courts.--No civil court shall have jurisdiction to settle, decide or deal with any Preamble28 - Special provisions for transfer of accumulation from welfare funds established by an Act or Agreement.--Notwithstanding Preamble30 - Power to make Rules.- (1) The Government may, by notification in the Gazette, make Rules either prospectively or Preamble31 -.....
