Title : Apportionment of Assets and Liabilities

The provisions of this Part shall apply in relation to the apportionment of the assets and liabilities of the State of Bombay immediately before the appointed day. Section 47 - Land and goods (1) Subject to the other provisions of this Part, all land and all stores, articles and other goods belonging to the State of Bombay shall, (a) if within the transferred territory, pass to the State of Gujarat; or (b) in any other case, remain the property of the State of Maharashtra : Provided that where the Central Government is of opinion that any goods or class of goods should be distributed otherwise than according to the situation of the goods, the Central Government may issue such directions as it thinks fit for a just and equitable distribution of the goods and the goods shall..... Title : Provisions as to Certain Corporations

(1) The following bodies corporate constituted for the State of Bombay, namely : (a) the State Electricity Board constituted under the Electricity Supply Act, 1948; and (b) the State Warehousing Corporation established under the Agricultural Produce (Development and Warehousing) Corporations Act, 1956, shall, as from the appointed day, continue to function in those areas in respect of which they were functioning immediately before that day, subject to the provisions of this section and to such directions as may, from time to time, be issued by the Central Government (2) Any directions issued by the Central Government under sub-section (1) in respect of the Board or the Corporation shall include a direction that the Act under which the Board or the Corporation was constituted.....
