1. The words "He shall be appointed by the Governor of Bombay in Council, by whose authority only he shall be liable to be suspended or removed from his appointment" were omitted by the Adaptation of Indian Laws Order in Council.
2. The words "The present Zilla Judges shall be the first District Judges under this Act" were repealed by the Repealing Act, 1876 (12 of 1876).
