PREAMBLE

AnAct to consolidate and amend the law relating to the District and SubordinateCivil Courts in the Presidency of Bombay

WHEREASit is expedient to consolidate and amend the law relating to the district andother subordinate Civil Courts in the Presidency of Bombay; It is hereby enactedas follows:--

1.This Act was extended to, and shall by virtue of such extension be in force inthat part of the State of Bombay to which immediately before the commencement ofBom. 94 of 1958 it did not extend (vide Bom. 94 of 1958, s. 2).
