In section 19 of the Official Trustees Act, 1913 (II of 1913), in its application to the State of Maharashtra, to sub-section (1), the following proviso shall be added, namely :--
"Provided that, notwithstanding anything contained in the Bombay Local Fund Audit Act, 1930 (Bom. XXV of 1930) the State Government may, by order published in the Official Gazette, direct that all or any of the accounts of the Official Trustee for the State, for such period or periods, and in such manner, as may be specified in the order, shall be audited by an officer or officers deputed by the Chief Auditor, Local Fund Accounts, and shall be certified by him or them as provided in sub-section (2)."
