Act Info:
(1) This Act may be called the Karnataka State Commission for Women Act, 1995.
(2) It shall extend to the whole of the State of Karnataka.
(3) It shall come into force from such1[date] as the Government may by notification, appoint.

Section 2 - Definitions
In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires,-
(a) "Commission" means the Karnataka State Commission for Women constituted under section 3;
(b) "Government" means the Government of Karnataka;
(c) " member" means a member of the Commission.
