Banaras Hindu University Act, 1915 Section 3 - Bare Act

¹ [(1)The Chancellor and the Vice-Chancellor and the membersof the Court, the Executive Council and the Academic Council, for the time beingshallbe a body corporate by the name of the BanarasHinduUniversity.]

(2) The University shallhave perpetual succession and a common seal, and shallsue, and be sued, by the name first aforesaid.
