| THE PUNJAB AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE MARKETS (VALIDATION) ACT, 1953 PUNJAB ACT NO. 50 OF 1953. [Received the assent of the Governor of Punjab on the 3rd November, 1953, and was first published in the Punjab Government Gazette (Extraordinary), of the 9th November, 1953.] An Act to validate certain orders made under the provisions of the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets Act, 1939. It is hereby enacted as follows:- Short title. 1. This Act may be called the Punjab Agricultural Produce Markets (Validation) Act, 1953. Validation of certain orders, proceedings and acts. 2. All orders made, proceedings taken and done in pursuance of Punjab Government notification No. 1362-E-52/2369, dated the 17th April, 1952, after the 16th October, 1952, in the exercise of the powers purporting to be derived by virtue of the aforesaid notification shall be deemed to be and always to have been validly made, taken and done as if the said notification had been approved by the Punjab Legislative Assembly to be continued in force as from 16th October, 1952, the date on which it would otherwise have ceased to operate, till the new committees are validly constituted. Bar of legal proceedings. 3. No suit or other legal proceeding whatever shall lie in any court against the State Government or any officer specified in the notification aforesaid for or on account of or in respect of any such order made, proceeding taken or act done as aforesaid and validated by the provisions of. the preceding section. 1.
