| BOMBAY MATERNITY BENEFIT, HYDERABAD MATERNITY BENEFIT & CENTRAL PROVINCES & BERAR MATERNITY BENEFIT (REPEAL) ACT, 1964 [40 of 1964] [ For Statement of Objects and Reasons, see Maharashtra Government Gazette, 1964, Part V, p. 221.] [21st October, 1964] An Act to repeal the Bombay Maternity Benefit Act, 1929, the Hyderabad Maternity Benefit Act and the Central Provinces and Berar Maternity Benefit Act, 1930, as applicable to factories. WHEREAS it is expedient to repeal the Bombay Maternity Benefit Act, 1929, the Hyderabad Maternity Benefit Act and the Central Provinces and Berar Maternity Benefit Act, 1930, as applicable to factories; It is hereby enacted in the Fifteenth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short Title :- This Act may be called Bombay Maternity Benefit, Hyderabad Maternity Benefit And Central Provinces And Berar Maternity Benefit (Repeal) Act, 1964. 2. Repeal of Bom. VII of 1929. Hyd. VII of 1349 Fasli. C.P. and Berar :- On the application of the Maternity Benefit Act, 1961 (53 of 1961) to factories in this State, the Bombay Maternity Benefit Act, 1929, the Hyderabad Maternity Benefit Act and the Central Provinces and Berar Maternity Benefit Act, 1930, as applicable to factories shall, subject to the provisions of section 27 of the Maternity Benefit Act, 1961, stand repealed. |
