| KERALA PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION(ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS AS RESPECTS THE SERVICES UNDER LOCAL AUTHORITIES)AMENDMENT ACT, 1988 [1] (ACT 15 OF 1988) An Act further to amend the Kerala Public Service Commission (Additional Functions as Respects the Services under Local Authorities) Act, 1973. Preamble." whereas it is expedient further to amend the Kerala pu blic Service Commission (Additional Functions as Respects the Services under Local Authorities) Act, 1973, for the purpose hereinafter appearing; be it enacted in the Thirty-ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows : " 1. Short title and commencement. "(1) This Act may be called the Kerala Public Service Commission (Additional Functions as Respects the Services under Local Authorities) Amendment Act, 1988. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. Amendment of section 2. "In clause (b) of section 2 of the Kerala pu blic Service Commission (Additional Functions as Respects the Serv ices under Local Authorities) Act, 1973 (23 of 1973), for the words, figures and brackets "and includes the Kerala State Rural Development Board constituted under the Kerala State Rural Development Board Act, 1971, the Trivandrum Town Planning Trust constituted under the Town Planning Act (IV of 1108), the Calicut Town plann ing Trust constituted under the Madras Town Planning Act, 1920 and the Greater Cochin Development Authority constituted under the Town Planning Act (IV of 1108) and the Madras Town Planning Act, 1920", the words, figures and brackets "or a Town Planning Trust or a development authority constituted under the Town Planning Act (IV of 1108) or the Madras Town Planning Act, 1920 (VII of 1920) or under both and includes the Kerala State Rural Development Board constituted under the Kerala State Rural Development Board Act , 1971 (15 of 1971)" shall be substituted. |
