| PART I LEGISLATIVE DEPARTMENT Notification The 23rd December, 1997 No. Leg. 28/97. - The following Act of the Legislature of the State of Haryana received the assent of the President of India on the 17th November, 1997, and is hereby published for general information: - (Haryana Act No. 22 of 1997) 1THE HARYANA AND PUNJAB AGRICULTURAL UNIVERSITIES (HARYANA AMENDMENT) ACT, 1997 (1 For Statement of Objects and Reasons, see Haryana Government Gazette (Extraordinary), 1997, dated 19.07.1997, page-1566.) AN ACT to amend the Haryana and Punjab Agricultural Universities Act, 1970, in its application to the State of Haryana. BE it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Haryana in the Forty-eight Year of the Republic of India as follows: - Short title. 1. This Act may be called the Haryana and Punjab Agricultural Universities (Haryana Amendment) Act, 1997. Amendment of section 34 of Central Act 16 of 1970. 2. In sub-section (4) of section 34 of the Haryana and Punjab Agricultural Universities Act, 1970, for the words and sign "Examiner, Local Fund Accounts", the words and signs "Director, Local Audit, Haryana shall be substituted. |
