| THE CODE OF CRIMINAL PROCEDURE (HARYANA AMENDMENT) ACT, 1985 (HARYANA ACT NO. 14 OF 1985) (Received the assent of the President of India on the 14th November, 1985 and was first published in the Haryana Government Gazette (Extraordinary), Legislative Supplement Part 1 of the 29th November, 1985.) AN act to amend the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, in its application to the State of Haryana. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Haryana in the Thirty- sixth year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Shot title. This Act may be called the Code of Criminal Procedure (Haryana Amendment) Act, 1985. 2. Amendment of Section 24 of Central Act 2 of 1974. To sub-section (6) of section 24 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, the following explanation shall be added, namely:- "Explanation:- For the purpose of sub-section (6), the persons constituting the Haryana State prosecution Legal service (Group B), shall be deemed to be a regular cadre of pro eluting officers." |
