THE CATTLE TRESPASS (CENTRAL PROVINCES AND BERAR AMENDMENT) ACT, 1937
PREAMBLE
An Act further of amend the Cattle-tresptass Act, 1871. Preamble-Whereas it is expedient further to amend the Cattletrespass ACt 1871, in its application to the Central Provinces and Berar in the manner hereinafter appearing; It is hereby enacted as follows:-
1. 'Extended to the Union territory of Delhi vide Government of India, Notification the No. S.R.O. 77 date 23rd may, 1950 published in Gaz. of India, Pt. II Sec. 3, dated 3rd June, 1950.
Section 1 - Short title
This Act may be called the Cattle-trespass Central Provinces end Berar (Amendment) Act, 1937.
Section 2 - Amendment to Section 14 (Act I of 1871)
After the proviso to section 14 of the Cattle trespass Act, 1871, the following proviso shall be added, namely:-
"Provided further that the Magistrate of the District may sell asses and infirm cattle, at any time, after the expiry of seven days from the date of their being impounded, without the issue of a notice and proclamation."
