| THE CHHATTISGARH MOTORYAN KARADHAN (SANSHODHAN) ACT, 2008 [Act No. 26 of 2010] ( Published in the Chhattisgarh Rajpatra (Asadharan) dated 26-10-2010 Page 552(1).) [26th October, 2010] PREAMBLE An Act further to amend the Chhattisgarh Motoryan Karadhan Adhiniyam, 1991. Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Fifty-nineth Year of the Republic of India as follows: -- Section 1 - Short title and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Chhattisgarh Motoryan Karadhan (Sanshodhan) Adhiniyam, 2008. (2) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may by notification appoint. Section 2 - Amendment of the First Schedule In the First Schedule of the Chhattisgarh Motoryan Karadhan Adhiniyam, 1991 (No. 25 of 1991), (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act), for sub-item (a) of item-v, the following sub-item shall be substituted, namely: -- (a) Goods Carriages, whose gross vehicle weight is above 3,500 Kgs.-- "For each 500 Kgs of the gross weight or part Rs. 85/- Per Quarter". thereof. Section 3 - Amendment of the Second Schedule In the Second Schedule of the Principal Act, for item 1, 2 and 5 the following shall be substituted, namely:--
