| THE CHHATTISGARH ENTERTAINMENT DUTY & ADVERTISEMENT TAX (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2008 [Act No. 9 of 2008] [ Published in Chhattisgarh Rajpatra (Asadharan) dated 9-5-2008 Page 258(1). ] [9th May, 2008] PREAMBLE An Act further to amend the Chhattisgarh Entertainment Duty and Advertisement Tax Act, 1936. Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the Fifty-ninth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-- Section 1 - Short title, extent and commencement (1) This Act may be called the Chhattisgarh Entertainment Duty and Advertisement Tax (Amendment) Act, 2008. (2) It extends to the whole of Chhattisgarh. (3) It shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette. Section 2 - Amendment of Section 3 In para (i) of first proviso of sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the Chhattisgarh Entertainment Duty and Advertisement Tax Act, 1936 (No. 30 of 1936), for the words and figure "25 thousand (twenty five thousand)" the words "One lakh" shall be substituted. |
