in the high court of jharkhand at ranchi b.a. no. 8712 of 2012 puran manjhi @ puran tudu ..... petitioner versus the state of jharkhand . opposite party coram: honble mr. justice h. c. mishra for the petitioner :mr. atanu banerjee for the state :a. p.p. ----- 03/19.12.2012 heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned a.p.p. for the prosecution. petitioner has been made accused for the offence under sections 313, 498a, 377/34 of the indian penal code, in connection with petarbar p.s. case no. 96 of 2012, corresponding to g.r. no. 952 of 2012. though, there is omnibus allegation against the petitioner and the other co-accused persons to have subjected the victim lady to cruelty and torture, but it appears that the petitioner is the cousin brother-in-law of the victim lady and the offence under sec. 377 of the ipc is specific against the husband of the victim lady. in the facts and circumstances of the case, i am inclined to release the petitioner on bail. accordingly, the petitioner puran manjhi @ puran tudu is directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of rs.10,000/- (rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned a.c.j.m., bermo at tenughat, in connection with petarbar p.s. case no. 96 of 2012, corresponding to g.r. no. 952 of 2012. Petitioner has been made accused for the offence under Sections 313, 498A, 377/34 of the Indian Penal Code, in connection with Petarbar P.S. Case No. 96 of 2012, corresponding to G.R. No. 952 of 2012.
