ORDER

The petitioner apprehends arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 120(B), 170, 419, 420, 468 and 471 of IPC corresponding under section 61, 204, 319(2), 318, 336, 340 of BNS in Crime No.1 of 2026 on the file of the respondent police seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner has illegally exonerated money by giving fake RBI documents and cheated the de facto Page1 of 3 complainant. Hence, this case.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the

petitioner is innocent and have been falsely implicated in this case. The petitioner is ready and willing to abide by any conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prays for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the

respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the petitioner has got one previous case. Hence, he opposed the grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

5. Taking into consideration of the seriousness of the allegation and the

registration of the First Information Report on 28.01.2026 and considering the fact that the petitioner has got one previous case of extortion, this Court is not inclined to enlarge him on anticipatory bail.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. SHL To:
