(ORAL) 1. Vide the present petition, the petitioner seeks direction thereby quashing FIR No.355/2016 dated 10.05.2016, registered at PS – Patel Nagar, for the offences punishable under Sections 354(A)/354(D)/509 IPC and all other proceedings emanating therefrom.

2. 3. Notice issued. Notice is accepted by learned APP for the State and counsel for the respondent no.2 and with the consent of the counsel for the parties, the present petition is taken up for final disposal.

4. The present petition is filed on the ground that the parties have settled CRL.M.C.3213/2019 Page 1 of 2 their disputes and the respondent Nos. 2 and 3 have no objection if the present petition is allowed.

5. Respondent Nos.2 & 3 are personally present in Court with learned counsel and they have been identified by SI Nisha/IO and submit that matter has been settled and they do not wish to prosecute the matter any further.

6. The petitioners and respondent nos.2 & 3 have entered into an amicable settlement vide compromise deed dated 18.05.2019.

7. Taking into account the aforesaid facts, this Court is inclined to quash the concerned FIR as no useful purpose would be served in prosecuting the petitioners any further.

8. For the reasons afore-recorded, the FIR No.355/2016 dated 10.05.2016, registered at PS – Patel Nagar, for the offences punishable under Sections 354(A)/354(D)/509 IPC and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

9. The petition is allowed and disposed of accordingly.
