[ RESPONDENTS ].This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representations of the petitioner dated 1.2.2013 so as to revise the petitioner's seniority suitably and to give posting orders appointing the petitioner as Superintendent of Police within a reasonable time as fixed by this Honourable Court.

The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents, has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court.

However, it is made clear that this Court, by this order, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.
