This petition has been filed for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to release the balance payment qua the work, which was allotted to the petitioner.

Vide work order dated 21.08.2013, the petitioner was allotted the work of estimate for repair/restoration of Old Railway Spur Rd 3750 of LMB U/S Hussainiwala Headworks.

The petitioner has completed the said work to the satisfaction of the respondents, but the payment thereof has not been released to him till date.

In this regard, the petitioner has given a representation dated 01.04.2014 (Annexure P-1).but no action has been taken thereon till date.

In view of the above position, this petition, at this stage is being disposed of without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, by giving a direction to respondent No.5 to look in to the representation of the petitioner Prasher Ajay 2014.07.14 18:13 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document High Court Chandigarh Civil Writ Petition No.13061 of 2014 2 (Annexure P-1) and decide the same in accordance with law, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
