Feeling aggrieved against the alleged inaction on the part of respondent authorities, petitioner has approached this Court by way of instant writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a writ in the nature of mandamus.
Learned counsel for the petitioner, at they very outset, fairly submits that petitioner has approached this Court without moving any representation or a legal notice to the respondent authorities.
He further submits that given an opportunity, petitioner shall approach the respondent authorities by moving appropriate representation within a period of three weeks from today and respondent No.2 may be directed to consider and decide the same, within a reasonable time.
Having heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, including the issue of limitation, if any, Director, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Punjab-respondent No.2, is directed that if the petitioner approaches him by Saluja Mukesh Kumar CWP NO.11700 of 2014 2 2014.06.30 16:20 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document way of appropriate representation or legal notice within a period of three weeks from today, he shall consider and decide the same at an early date, by passing an appropriate order thereon, in accordance with law, but in any case within a period of three months from the date of receipt of representation or legal notice from the petitioner.
With the observations made above, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
