| Section Title | Vacancy to Be Filled as Early as Possible |
When 1[a member dies or resigns,] he shall cease to be a member of the Board from the date of his death or the date of the acceptance of the resignation, as the case may be, and any vacancy so occurring 2[for otherwise] shall be filled by the State Government as early as practicable :
Provided that, during any such vacancy the continuing members may act as if no vacancy has occurred.
