17. Duty of Board to undertake housing schemes1[and land development schemes]
Subject to the provisions of this Act and subject to the control of the State Government, the Board may incur expenditure and undertake works in any area for the framing and execution of such housing schemes1[and land development schemes] as it may consider necessary from time to time, or as may be entrusted to it by the State Government.
