(1) Where the Registrar has made an order under section 96 for the winding
up of a co-operative society, the Registrar may appoint a liquidator for the purpose and fix his remuneration. (2) Where a co-operative society is to be dissolved and no liquidator is appointed by the general body meeting, the Registrar shall appoint any person as a liquidator to wind up the affairs of the co-operative society.
