THE VISVESWARAIAH TECHNOLOGICAL UNIVERSITY ACT, 1994¹

PREAMBLE

An Act to establish and incorporate a University in the State of Karnataka for the development of Engineering, Technology and allied Sciences.

W HEREAS it is expedient to establish and incorporate a University for the purpose of ensuring proper and systematic instruction, teaching, training and research in development of Engineering, Technology, and allied Sciences in the State of Karnataka and matters connected therewith:

B E it enacted by the Karnataka State Legislature in the forty fifth Year of the Republic of India as follows:-
