AMENDMENT OF SECTION 201 Insection 201 of the Income-tax Act-,"
a) in sub-section (1), after the words "does not deduct", the words "the whole or any part of the tax" shall be inserted and shall be deemed to have been inserted with effect from the 1st day of April, 1962; (b) in sub-section (1A)," (i) after the words "does not deduct", the words "the whole or any part of the tax" shall be inserted and shall be deemed to have been inserted with effect from the 1st day of April, 1962; (ii) for the words "eighteen per cent", the words "fifteen per cent" shall be substituted with effect from the 1 st day of June, 2001.
